1. Regular assessment of FENSA double glazing companies by an 'independent inspection body'

CHAS - Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme

CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers (those who provide goods and services) and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers.

GGFi – Glass & Glazing Federation's Insurance backed Guarantee (IBG)

This is an independent Insurance backed Guarantee that is valid for 10 years. This scheme is operated via the GGF and a certificate of insurance is provided to you once the installation has been completed and registered with FENSA. The GGF 'Guarantee Protection' now provide.

BFRC - British Fenestration Ratings Council

The BFRC Scheme is the UK’s national system for rating the energy efficiency of windows and is recognised within the Building Regulations as a method to show compliance for your replacement windows installation. Window energy Ratings use a consumer-friendly traffic-light style A-E ratings guide similar to that used on ‘white’ goods (such as fridges, freezers, washing machines etc). This ratings label can be used by you to make more informed choices about the energy efficiency of the windows you are looking to purchase.

BS 7412 (KM 537421)

All CR Windows, windows are made as standard following the requirements of BS 7412. This is the specification for plastic windows manufactured from PVCu extruded profiles. This means that the British Standards Institute (BSi) regularly tests our windows for quality, consistency and durability at their own testing facilities which allows for the window to be tested under extreme weather conditions as well as security testing.

BS7950/7412 (KM 537422)

Specification for enhanced security performance of casement windows. This specification deals with the enhanced security performance of casement windows. The British Standards Institution for security has rigorously tested these windows. They are built to resist prolonged forced entry.

BS 8213-4:2007

The Kitemark cannot be purchased and is only awarded following stringent independent testing and assessment of all parts of the business.

All of our windows that we manufacture are accredited with 'Secure by Design' award. Secured by Design is owned by the Association of the Chief Police Officers (ACPO). Our windows provide you with the highest level of security available that are backed, approved and recommended by the Police Crime Prevention Office.
