How long has CR Windows been trading?

A. CR Windows started trading in 1975, becoming a limited company in 1978. CR Windows has continuously been manufacturing and installing for over 35 years

What does your insurance back guarantee mean to me?

The independent warranty is with the GGFi which is based in the UK. This warranty ensures that your installation continues to be insured should CR Windows cease to be a trading company.

Do you manufacture your own products?

All of our products are manufactured in our 22,000 sq ft factory using state of the are machinery.

Do you employ your own installers, surveyor and salesmen?

CR Windows employs over 50 local employees, some of whom have been with us for over 20 years.

How much deposit would I be expected to pay?

CR Windows would request a 10% deposit of the order value, this is a minimum figure that we require, most customers decide to pay between 10 and 30 percent.

How secure are your windows?

CR Windows are the only manufacturer in the region to hold the coveted BS7950 British Standard for the manufacture of the high security window coupled with the Secured By Design accreditation (Police Preferred Security Specification).

Are your windows internally glazed?

All of our products are internally glazed as standard.

How ‘Green’ is CR Windows?

All of the old windows and doors we are replacing are removed and placed in a separate recycling skip at our factory. This ‘old’ PVC-u is granulated and recycled by a recycling company in Wales. All of the ‘old’ glass is also placed within it’s own recycling skip also and this is used in the manufacture of tarmac! Hardly any waste from our installations is transported to the landfill sites.

Under your terms of guarantee what is covered by the ten year guarantee?

Our fully comprehensive ten year guarantee not only includes all of the components used within your windows, doors and conservatories (i.e. glass, handles locking mechanisms, etc) but also covers any fading on any of the PVC-u materials used.
